Samantha Byrne
Quality Assurance Specialist Clinical Supervisor, BCBASamantha Byrne, M.S., BCBA is a San Diego native and has always had a passion for helping others. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon with a bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders and Sciences and with a Minor in Psychology. Post-graduation, Samantha dedicated her time to SmallTalk Speech Therapy in El Cajon and provided respite services for families with children with disabilities. Inspired by her respite work, she joined Optimum Behavioral Health and soon after was certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). She has implemented a variety of behavior analytic techniques with children ages 2.5 years old to 12 years old. Samantha’s work with Autism and other developmental disorders encouraged her to pursue Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) further where she enrolled in Pepperdine University in the Master’s Program for Behavioral Psychology. She has since received a Master’s degree and has earned Board Certification in Behavior Analysis. Samantha always looks for opportunities to expand her knowledge.
