Alisa Mowry
Program Consultant Clinical Supervisor, BCBAAlisa Mowry, M.Ed., is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with competencies in several specialized fields of special education. Alisa has been working with the autisic population since 2008 when she began her career as a respite care worker. It was in this role that she developed a love for the study of Applied Behavior Analysis. In 2010 she graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Child and Adolescent Development Studies from California State University of Fullerton.
With her degree in hand, she transitioned to working as a paraprofessional and registered behavior technician at TERI Inc., specializing in moderate to severe disabilities. Here she completed her field work and graduated with a Master’s of Education in the Foundations of Behavioral Analysis in the Fall of 2016. In May of 2017 she became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and has been working as an In-Home ABA Clinical Supervisor ever since.
In her role as a Clinical Supervisor at Optimum Behavioral Health, she performs a variety of duties such as early intervention, parent training, development and ongoing oversight of behavioral analytic programs, behavioral consult, functional behavioral assessments, and RBT/BCBA training and supervision.
Alisa is described by her coworkers as driven, patient, warm, and compassionate. She does all that she can to help the families she serves and it is her passion to make ABA a fun and positive experience for everyone she works with.
