Kelsey Ortiz
Program Consultant Clinical Supervisor, BCBAKelsey is a mom of 2 and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst born and raised in San Diego. She has been immersed in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for the last 10 years between her work and education. She began as a direct interventionist in 2014, achieved her Master’s degree in 2016, and became board certified in 2018.
Her experience includes working with clients from 1 years old to adulthood, focusing on identifying each individuals’ strengths and incorporating their special interests and preferences within teaching opportunities. At the heart of her work is a commitment to individualized, naturalistic services.
Her approach to intervention and training is rooted in collaboration and continuous learning. She has developed Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for colleagues, overseen and facilitated social skills groups, and provided comprehensive training for staff and caregivers. She has experience working in home, in clinic, in school settings, in the community, and supporting clients and direct service staff via telehealth.
Her aim is always to enrich the lives of and enhance the support provided to each client and their families. Kelsey is committed to developing a practice which is continuously responsive to clients’ changing needs and affirming towards the unique traits of each individual she serves.
