Michelle Rivas
Clinical Supervisor, BCBAMichelle Rivas found her passion in ABA through a friend that had received services for their child when she realized she would be a good fit to apply for the job as a direct therapist. After two years in the field, she pursued her master’s degree and not long after pursued a career as a BCBA. Now, she is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has worked in the field of ABA for a total of 6 years. She received her undergraduate degree from San Diego State University in 2017 and then went on to receive her Master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2022 from Arizona State University.
Michelle has always known she wanted to work with children, whether it was in the classroom as a kindergarten teacher or as a counselor. Throughout the years, she has worked with children ranging from 2-16 years old. She also has experience in the classroom setting by assisting children in need of 1 to 1 assistance during their daily routine in the school. Michelle’s priority has always been her clients and their families’ well-being. She hopes to continuously improve her clinical skills to further support the families she has been entrusted with.
